In 1948, Del R. Gilbert established a small manufacturing plant on Garfield Street in Laconia, New Hampshire producing mainly concrete block. In 1957, the facility moved to its present location, a 9 acre lot at 427 Province Road.  Since that time the company has expanded its product line and locations. We have a satellite operation on Route 16 in Tamworth, New Hampshire and a additional manufacturing satellite operation on Route 3 in Hooksett, New Hampshire.
Gilbert Block manufactures a wide variety of Concrete Masonry Units coming in all sizes and shapes, Allan Block Retaining Walls, and Precast Concrete Products.
The company offers a full line of Masonry Supplies, Landscape Products, Clay Brick, Natural Stone, Granite, Flue, Portland Cement and Mortar, Dampers, Cleanouts, tools, and much more.
